Legacy Alive is a new global format designed to transform cultural heritage into living, participatory experiences, bridging education, emotion, and technology.
For its first execution, Discovery Pompeii Alive, the creators (IP2 and 3DBA) needed a partner capable of bringing that vision to life through content, design, and technology.
They came to us to develop the immersive storytelling, production systems, and visitor experience that would make the format real. Over time, our role expanded far beyond production: we became a core creative and strategic partner, shaping both the narrative experience, technology and the marketing direction.
We led the creative and technical realization of the six rooms from story development and cinematic design to interactive environments, real-time systems, and production.
We built the content and technology stack that powers the entire experience: large scale projections, 3d characters, AI interactions, spatial audio, and a virtual reality sequence that lets visitors fly over Vesuvius.
As the project evolved, we also contributed to its strategic storytelling and marketing, creating the positioning Come se fosse oggi (As if it were today), which became the emotional and conceptual anchor for the brand and communications.
It’s our most ambitious convergence of storytelling and technology to date, from room-scale projection systems to immersive VR and reactive environments.
It demonstrates our ability to bridge format and execution: taking a preexisting concept and giving it form, feeling, and coherence.
It involved direct collaboration with Warner Discovery, Irgen (the real estate builders) and multiple international teams, showing our capacity to operate at complex, multi-stakeholder levels.
It showcases how we work: blending strategic insight, narrative craft, and production excellence to create something that feels both educational and cinematic.
Pompeii Alive is where our creative, technical, and storytelling systems came together, proof that we can bring ambitious cultural ideas to life at scale.
